Excellent idea, but bad execution.
The piece is really well made and is longer than the original design. It can accommodate a lpvo with low mount scope rings perfectly. However, it has a lot of side-to-side wobbles which drastically affects the zero of my optic. The previous design had side wings to prevent the wobble. But with the lack of these, the rail is bad for mounting optics in the front part of the rail where the most wobble happens. I wouldn’t recommend this version if you plan to use it to mount optics.
